A Polish regular at Europe’s trade show last year picked up around 30 positive leads, underling the event’s status as a place where real business is done.
Filip Frackowiak, of plastic fishing tackle accessories supplier Anplast, told Angling International that after a successful European show, he would ‘certainly’ recommend it to would-be exhibitors looking to strike up distribution deals.
“This is the most important show for the trade in Europe. In respect of gaining new business, it was a success for Anplast and met our high expectations. In contrast to the previous event in Belgium, I made new business deals mainly with companies based in my home market.
“I am especially pleased with two of them which included a key player in Poland.”
Anplast has been supplying plastic fishing items to the industry since 1985, with Europe representing 90% of its business. Its main export markets include Germany, the UK, Austria, Denmark, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Finland. “One central show which gathers crucial players within the industry has become the most important event of the year for us,” added Frackowiak.
All products in the Anplast range are made from recycled materials that can be used again after use. Its range includes larger and smaller tackle and bait boxes, disgorgers, a range of rig winders, float balancers, spools for fishing line and fly tying thread.
The company has already confirmed its booth for this year in Budapest and will be showing off additions to its range of affordable tackle boxes which are now available in six different colours.
