Britain’s oldest supplier of fishing flies was among the first exhibitors to sign up for Angling International LIVE and has revealed it has ambitious plans for the event.
Turrall & Co has been plying its trade from the West Country in England since the mid-19th century and has developed a brand that is known across the world. It has been an ever-present exhibitor at EFTTEX since 1982 and has picked up five industry awards during that time.
Company owner Dylan Ponisch told Angling International: “A European show is very important to Turrall. As a European company we want to work closely with our partners in the region to promote fishing and create an industry that is open and welcoming to all.
“The show is a platform that allows the trade to meet with real manufacturers and suppliers of products, enabling them to deal directly with the people responsible for creating the tackle that keeps the sport going.”
Europe is described as a very important market for Turrall. “Not only is it an important base for sales, but it is also a wealth of product development and innovation,” added Ponisch.
“Turrall has strong links with the Nordic markets as well as others in Northern and Eastern European nations.”
Ponisch revealed that Turrall will be showing over 100 new products at Angling International LIVE as well as looking to set up links with French, Spanish and Portuguese customers.
