Chinese lure manufacturer Goofun will use this year’s China Fish trade show to build on the momentum it generated at EFTTEX, offering international visitors a limited, appointment-only incentive aimed at emerging brands and distributors looking for flexible, design-led production.
Goofun says it is particularly keen to meet new lure brands, regional distributors and online influencers seeking quality manufacturing combined with fast development cycles and adaptable order structures.
“We always want to work with customers who need quality lure production with excellent design and service, but also flexibility,” says Goofun owner Sam Fu. “That means being able to customise MOQ, lead time and supply-chain solutions for very different business models.”

For China Fish, Goofun is offering a design-led incentive to encourage early engagement from international visitors. The first three companies to book appointments ahead of the show will receive three free lure design services, valued at EUR €500 each. Additional visitors who pre-book meetings but do not secure one of the first three slots will still receive a gift box of Goofun-produced lures.
Fu says the offer is designed to demonstrate Goofun’s capabilities before any commercial commitment is made. “We want customers to see what we can actually deliver,” he says. “Design, speed and execution are what matter most to them.”
The China Fish initiative follows a similar pre-show offer made by Goofun at EFTTEX in Brussels, which the company says directly converted into new business. Following the show, Goofun began working with five new international customers, with the first orders scheduled for delivery in early February. Other projects are currently in sample testing or active production.

“For us, that is strong evidence,” says Fu (above, left in picture). “Those customers came with real needs, and they trusted our service because they got exactly what they came for.”
Without naming clients, Goofun says its post-EFTTEX workload includes the completion of a new vibration lure featuring refined action and premium paint finishes, alongside ongoing development of saltwater pencils, minnows and trolling lures.
The company positions itself as a long-term partner rather than a volume-driven OEM supplier. “We have more than ten years’ experience in lure design, manufacturing efficiency and supply-chain management,” Fu says. “We want to grow with our customers, just as we have grown with the brands we’ve worked with over the last decade.”
Looking ahead, Goofun says its priority is not scale for its own sake, but maintaining service quality as new brands enter the market.
“In five years, we hope there will be many new lure brands bringing brilliant ideas to anglers,” Fu says. “Goofun wants to be the trustworthy partner that helps them grow without worrying about the product itself.”
