ANGELWELT – dubbed Europe’s biggest fishing fair – has recorded a 20% increase of exhibitors.
The show, which takes place from November 28 to 30 in Berlin, welcomes over 250 national and global exhibitors with brands from diverse countries that include China, Brazil, Mongolia, the Maldives and Scandinavia – including Sweden and Finland – and the US.
“We are delighted that ANGELWELT is growing year on year in terms of both quality and internationality,” said Felix Steinacker, head of the show. “The halls are full, the brands more diverse than ever and the atmosphere already buzzing. Together with the German Angling Association (DAFV), the event shows that angling is much more than about catching fish. It will be presenting current projects and providing information on fishing policy issues and discussions.”
Following its premier last year, the European Fishing Tackle Trade Association (EFTTA), the regional industry trade body, will be holding its Angling Summit on Thursday, November 27 – a day before the start of the show.
One of the highlights of the show will be the JDM (Japanese Donmestic Market|) area that has attracted household names that include DUO, Gamakatsu, Adjusta, Major Craft, Spro and Seaguar t o name just a few.
What is claimed to be Europe’s most comprehensive event for fishing boats, motors and accessories will take place at the ANGELBOOT arena, attracting top brands that include Nitro, Torqueedo, Crestliner and Tracker.
