Nordic Fieldsport takes on distribution of iconic Scandinavian lure brand

Nordic Fieldsport ApS (NFS), the new Danish tackle brand spearheaded by former Svendsen Sport founder Lars Svendsen and his two sons, has signed an exclusive cooperation and distribution agreement with one of Scandinavia’s most iconic lure makers.

From the beginning of next month NFS will be responsible for the sales and distribution of Wolfcreek Lures AB in both its Nordic home market as well as Europe and globally.

The agreement means that NFS undertakes to actively market Wolfcreek Lures internationally and to ensure its availability on the market together with other products in its portfolio through the company’s good contacts in the industry.

Under the agreement, Wolfcreek Lures’ existing warehouse will be moved to Denmark at the beginning of September, where NFS will take over responsibility for order management, logistics, warehousing and distribution. Wolfcreek will continue to conduct its own sales of handmade baits and bait building products, as well as offer direct sales in the company’s store on Frösön, Östersund.

“At the same time, we can ensure that the distribution takes place on a professional and global level. We see this as an important step in our continued growth journey.”

Customers and retailers will continue to meet Wolfcreek at the company’s workshop, showroom and store in Östersund, which remains a central part of the brand’s identity and is complemented by an active presence on social media.

The agreement is the latest step in the growth of NFS which has already acquired the Swedish spinning brand Myran and PulzBait of Germany, which has been described as one of the best lure launches in the last decade.
