Plastics accessories supplier promises new additions for Angling International LIVE

Visitors to the first-ever Angling International LIVE looking for accessories like tackle and bait boxes would be well advised to visit the booth of a company that has been producing plastic goods for the industry since 1985.

Poland-based Anplast Fishing will be back at Budapest this year to show off its range of plastics alongside a new addition to its line-up of affordable tackle boxes.

The company’s Filip Frackowiak told Angling International that Anplast plans to build on the range of boxes every year. “Each addition will be available in six different colours and we can offer custom colours to OEM customers.”

The first of the boxes (above) was launched last year and has been designed for storing carp accessories. It has a removable tray with seven compartments in which baiting aids, drills, baiting needles, scissors and other often used accessories can be placed. The lower section can accommodate clips and hooks or up to two boxes of method baits.

A smaller one will be on show for the first time at Angling International LIVE and is a universal box for clips, swivels, hooks or even small lures or wobblers.

Frackowiak added that Anplast’s best-ever seller will also be on view at the show – the foldable fillet board with stainless steel scaler. “It is very popular in some markets, but there are still countries where it is unknown and we would like to promote it.”

All products in the Anplast range are made from recycled materials and can be recycled after use. Its full range of products includes larger and smaller tackle and bait boxes, disgorgers, a variety of rig winders, float balancers, spools for fishing line and fly tying thread.

Europe represents 90% of Anplast’s business with its main exports going to Germany, the UK, Austria, Denmark, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Finland – making a show in the region very important to the company. “One central show which gathers crucial players within the industry has become the most important event of the year for us,” added Frackowiak.
