After several years of disruption and absence from the European show circuit, Spanish company Calico S.A. is ready to make its presence felt at next month’s EFTTEX.
The company’s Sergi Hernandez told Angling International: “A lot has happened in the world since COVID 19, but we believe that the European show is returning in a position of strength. This year’s show serves as a pivotal opportunity for Calico and the fishing industry at large to rekindle face-to-face relationships and reinvigorate business momentum.

“As EFTTEX opens its doors in Brussels, Calico stands ready to seize new opportunities, strengthen relationships and continue our journey of innovation and growth in the fishing industry.”
While not ready to unveil the new products destined for its booth, Hernandez is promising visitors a ‘little of everything’.

“Our plan is to show off a good number of new samples from our brands and to take the opportunity to share those with our customers and friends within the industry. Also, if there is a chance to meet potential new partners and find new business opportunities, that would be great.”
Calico – distributor of the Yo-Zuri and Duel brands – continues to expand its export market, now reaching over 35 markets worldwide. “While Spain and Portugal remain core regions, significant growth has been achieved in other regions, with particularly emphasis on countries where we have established our own salesforce.

“We have strong coverage across Europe for many of our brands, but are open to boosting performance in selected territories.”
