Eyewear brand pays tribute to clean water advocate

Costa Sunglasses – one of North America’s most high profile advocates of caring for the sea environment -recognised its Captain For Clean Water Steward of the Year at ICAST.

The progressive eyewear brand presented the award for the seventh time in recognition of individuals who go ‘above and beyond’ as stewards for clean water in their communities.

This year’s winner was Captain Cody Rubner, a fishing guide and passionate conservationist.

Costa said: “Cody has been with us since day one – motivated by firsthand experience with water management and a deep-rooted love of Florida’s waters. He is a tireless advocate who leads by example – educating clients on every trip and using his platform to raise awareness and consistently bringing new voices into the fight for clean water.”
