Mustad to unveil 21 new hooks at ICAST

The world’s most iconic hook maker will be showing off no less than 21 new models when the doors open at ICAST – the world’s largest tackle trade show – in two days time.

Leading the line-up will be the Jigging Assist Single and Jigging Assist Double (above) hooks which are made using 4.3 UltraPoint Technology. Other new hooks on display at its booth include:

Mustad will also be showing off its new Mirotic Slow Jig (above), which has been designed with a hydrodynamic form at different weights to reflect the needs at the necessary water depths to create the ideal action. This creates a sliding, falling presentation where many species make their strike.

For dark, deep water offshore fishing, Mustad has selected patterns with prominent colours and glow accents. Its new AlphaPoint Ruthless Assist hooks have been rigged at both ends.
