How a comfortable chair can be key to carp fishing success

Fishing chairs – part of Carp Zoom’s Outdoors and Accessories range – represent a key area of sales to carp anglers for the Hungarian company.

Salim Fadil, owner of the successful Budapest-based fishing tackle supplier, told Angling International: “These products have been a popular addition to our carp fishing range since they were first introduced more than 15 years ago. The line-up has grown to such an extent that we now offer 15 different types of chairs.”

He added that the most popular chairs in the range include the VIP, Full Comfort Boilie Armchair, Comfort N2 Armchair, Recliner Comfort Armchair and Super Feeder Chair.

“The design and materials used have continually changed over the years and we are always adapting to meet the needs of carp anglers,” explained Fadil. “Comfort has increased considerably with the addition of fleece and memory foam. Reclining models and the introduction of camou designs have also become very popular in recent years.”

The secret of a good fishing chair? Fadil says: “Comfort so that anglers can relax at the lakeside. To achieve this goal, all our models are produced with strong frames and hard-wearing coating, adjustable legs with swivelling mud legs, a snug mattress – and for some – a plush fleece cushion.”

He also revealed that new chairs for 2025 will include a semi-camou design following requests from anglers.
