Europesca returns with Australian trolling motors for Europe

Italian distributor Europesca will be back at Angling International LIVE in June, building on the success of its sales of Australian trolling motors in Europe.

Europesca’s Ciro Esposito told Angling International: “We are working to develop a sales network across the range of Watersnake outboard electric motors. Our focus has been in the Mediterranean region, but we are also targeting northern and eastern European countries.”

Esposito added that at last year’s show in Budapest, the products caught the attention of visitors to its booth and negotiations are continuing to broker permanent distribution agreements. “These things take time, but we are hoping to achieve positive developments. We are at the stage of market testing and evaluating the potential of samples by distributors.”

At this year’s event in Bratislava, Europesca will be presenting a new model in the Watersnake range that features a simplified operation at a more aggressive price point.

“We have been happy with the success we have experienced with the relative growth of sales despite the fishing industry suffering from a generally difficult global market. With that in mind, we are looking forward to adding sales in 2025.”
