Ockert returns to its winning ways with three show awards

Award-winning German tackle supplier Ockert returned to its usual winning ways when it exhibited at its first European tackle trade show since 2019.

The owner of established brands and a provider of OEM solutions attended the first ever Angling International LIVE tackle trade show in Budapest and continued its proud history of winning awards at international trade events when it took three accolades in the Product Showcase.

Company Managing Director Jan Willenbruch told Angling International: “Obviously, we were very happy to win an award – being successful with three is even better. It was very good to see our brands are well on track in Europe.”

Willenbruch added that Ockert is waving farewell to a positive year for the company. “From the very beginning of the 2024 season, we have been very active and it was very positive despite the general and economic situation worldwide.

“Of course, we would have loved to see a more positive scenario as a whole and in retail. It would have made the year much better. But the feedback and results on our brands strengthens us in our strategy. We are looking forward to 2025, which will surely continue to have its challenges. We will have an opportunity to discover how the industry is faring early in February when we attend China Fish.
