China Fish 2025 in line to match record-breaking exhibitor numbers

Share

Preparations are already underway for the 31st China Fish next year.

Following last year’s record-breaking event, which attracted over 700 exhibitors, Li Jiang, owner of the event, says that he expects a similar number of manufacturers to attend despite the current global economic challenges and geopolitical uncertainties.

A third of the total number of exhibitors in 2024 were taking part in China Fish for the first or second time with 95% of those attending being original manufacturers with years of experience of the overseas market. Over 1,200 international buyers from more than 82 countries and regions gave the event a truly global flavour.

Looking ahead to next year’s event, Li Jiang said he anticipated the show to be run on a similar scale across an exhibition area of 39,300sqm across three halls.

“China Fish will showcase a comprehensive array of sport fishing tackle designed for the global market. It is essential to note that while the numbers continue to grow, all suppliers and their offerings are exclusively intended for international trade as China Fish is a trade-only event for the international market.”

He added that the Best Product Showcase will continue to be a highlight of the show in 2025, featuring hundreds of products making their debut and encouraging buyers to cast their votes for the Best of China Fish award.

“Most visitors consider China Fish to be the leading destination for sourcing new products,” said Li Jiang. “Each year numerous manufacturers unveil their latest innovations, and it is the first opportunity for visitors to see them.”

Li Jiang revealed that the visa-free transit policy introduced by the Chinese Government has simplified travel for those in 54 countries. “You can now opt for visa-free stays of 24, 72 or 144 hours.

“The E-visa application process has also been streamlined, allowing you to enter and stay in China using just your passport. Currently, Shanghai is the only port offering this, but expansion to more destinations are expected in the future.”

By the end of December next year, citizens of France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Malaysia, Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium and Luxemburg holding ordinary passports will be able to visit China visa-free.

For more detailed information, you can visit the China National Immigration Administration website (www.nia.gov.cn) or contact the Chinese Embassy or General Consulate in your area.

Visitors needing a visa can request a complementary visa invitation letter from China Fish.

As in previous years, China Fish will be offering group-rate hotel accommodation for registered buyers. Badges to the show can also be collected a day before the show and there is a complementary shuttle service that operates daily between selected hotels and the venue.

In addition registered international buyers will gain free access to the China Fish Platform for a year. It connects members to over 700 suppliers and more than 8,000 products enabling the user to source suppliers, place orders and chat directly with exhibitors from both China Fish and the CGC Expo.
