Angling International LIVE is introducing an all-new Product Showcase that will include on-stage presentations and video content for social media.
Entry to the Angling International LIVE Product Showcase will be open to visiting companies and those booking private meeting rooms on the show floor, although priority will be given to exhibitors.
Confirming the news, show co-owner Rob Carter said: “New products, and the awards associated with them, are always a strong feature of trade shows. The Angling International LIVE Product Showcase will include presentations from the stage, which will give companies the opportunity to connect with the wider audience in the hall plus potential B2B customers around the world using the Angling International digital platforms.”
Carter also confirmed that videos of the presentations will also be made available to the featured companies for their own use. “The content we make on the stage at Angling International LIVE can be used by brands to reach anglers, making Angling International LIVE the first European trade show to help participants engage with consumer from within the hall.
“And don’t worry if you are not a natural presenter. The format of the presentations will take the form of short interviews conducted by our editors. All you need is a clear understanding of the benefits of your product and a passion for explaining them to potential customers.”
Carter also confirmed that award winners at the show will be offered special interviews to celebrate their successes.
“The plan is to offer short presentation slots during the first two days of the show to companies entered into the awards, then dedicate the third day to interviews with our award winners. It’s a golden opportunity for generating content. The Angling International LIVE show is all about using the power of the Angling International portfolio of platforms to reach as many people as possible. And this is another step forward. The benefits to companies entering the Product Showcase are huge and I would urge every eligible company to sign up.”
Details will be released soon of how to enter the Product Showcase and how the show awards will be judged. Exhibitors will be able to enter all product categories free of charge. Companies booking private meeting rooms and visitors will be able to enter their products for a fee. There will be a booking system for product presentations on the stage and companies will also be encouraged to send product videos for broadcasting during the show or as part of their presentations.
Carter added: “We want the Angling International LIVE stage to be a key element of the show with rolling product presentations and videos on the big screen. We are also in talks with experts from inside and outside the industry to present on a range of topics useful to the trade.
“The Angling International brand – with the monthly magazine at its heart – is built on high quality content created with tackle businesses. The presentations we have planned from the stage are a natural extension of what we do best.”
Carter added that booths are still available, as well as a range of private meeting rooms for those companies with limited time to arrange a booth or who want somewhere permanent on the show floor to meet with their current customers.
“We are intent on creating Europe’s premier meeting place for 2024 and for many years into the future,” added Carter. “And new products will be at the heart of what we offer.
“When we launched Angling International LIVE we promised to connect the tackle trade in Europe, and there is no better way of doing that than showcasing great new products. September in Budapest will be a time to celebrate the great fishing tackle available on the European market and the companies producing it.”
