Fuji streamlines its global distribution network

FUJI KOGYO CO. LTD says changes to its global distribution network will lead to faster supply and better support for trade customers in all parts of the world.
The Japanese specialist in rod guides and components has revised its network of global distributors by dividing the world into five territories, each with a lead distributor. These distributors in Japan, the American continent, Europe, Oceania and Asia will also be the first points of contact for all information regarding Fuji products in their territories.
Kowa Company Ltd in Japan will continue to be responsible for sales to rod factories.
The global distributors are: Japan domestic market – First Corporation; the American continent – Anglers Resource; Oceania – Frogleys Offshore; Europe (Spain and 20 further countries) – Calico SA; Europe (Italy and 19 further countries) – Majora Intelligent Fishing; Asia – Kowa Company.
Bill Falconer, the owner of Anglers Resource, the Fuji distributor for the American continent, said: “I am very excited about the enhanced new structure that will allow us to better serve our Fuji customers. “This new structure allows us to offer faster order fulfillment and deeper inventory to ensure consistent product availability for things like the revolutionary new TCH seat technology. And the timing is perfect as Fuji plans to continue to release new products that we can bring to market quickly and in robust quantity.”

Director of Frogleys Offshore in Oceania, Michael Starkey, said: “This new structure allows more countries to access more products, helping all markets across the world.
