EXPLR of Sweden, one of the largest distributors and retailers of paddle sports products in Scandinavia, has been appointed by RAILBLAZA to oversee its growth in Finland and Denmark.
The moves comes following EXPLR’s investment in a new warehouse and showroom in Linköping, located just a few hours from both Stockholm and Gothenburg.
EXPLR, established in 2017, is a young professional, company with a clear vision on providing market-leading brands into the paddle sport and boating market, with a key focus on fishing. Following its first order with RAILBLAZA, a leading supplier of marine mounting systems, back in 2020, EXPLR has grown to become one of RAILBLAZA’s most important strategic partners within Europe.
Nick Edgington, RAILBAZA’s Sales Director (EMEA), said: “EXPLR’s recent investment into real estate, ecommerce and workforce is clear evidence that it has a strategic growth plan in place and we want to be on that journey. The knowledge and understanding of the Scandinavian market of Felix Frey, Managing Director of EXPLR, will be invaluable as it looks to grow our market share in Denmark.
“During my recent visit, I met the EXPLR team who are all very knowledgeable about our brand and it was great to see their enthusiasm.”
Marius Juska, the most recent recruit has been tasked with increasing sales in Finland and Denmark. He said: “The doors to the new showroom opened earlier this month, attracting over 600 customers. This new facility provides EXPLR with a new dimension, allowing it to showcase brands, gain consumer feedback and present the products to the trade.”
Frey added “We have experienced expediential growth since forming the company. This is largely thanks to the addition of great brands and having an excellent understanding of our markets. We focus on five to six key brands and work hard to ensure we present these to our customers in a professional and dynamic way.
