After nearly a century supplying commercial fishermen, top apparel supplier Grundéns says that it is just getting started in angling and has committed to bringing the best clothing, footwear and gear to the recreational fishing market.
The company, which was founded in Sweden in 1926, has underlined that commitment by revealing that it is set to make a ‘major leap’ in the wading category in the second half of the year.
It says: “We will introduce our take on wading jackets and new boots to complement our range of waders across multiple price points.”
Since its formation, Grundéns has developed and manufactured protective gear to ensure fishermen can fish in comfort no matter the environment.
The company says: “With this heritage and trust, anglers can have peace of mind when heading out in the knowledge that the gear will enable them to perform at their best level. For retailers this means confidence in sales and continuous profitable business with anglers who are getting to know about Grundéns and the quality and functionality of its products.”
Grundéns has been making its apparel in Portugal since 1972 where it says the focus is firmly on high quality clothing. “The Grundéns team continues to see opportunities to improve performance for the angler and is committed to ensuring their needs are met.”
