Solar Tackle COO takes on new challenge at RidgeMonkey

Share

Jonathan Bones has left his role as Chief Operating Officer at Solar Tackle to join RidgeMonkey, where he will lead sales and account management in the south of the UK, taking over some of its biggest customers.

Bones has worked in the trade for the past 22 years, the last five of which he has spent running and directing Solar’s growth in the UK and Europe. He has also overseen outside investment in the company that has supported its rapid expansion in recent years.

RidgeMonkey, the maker of carp terminal tackle and accessories, was founded in 2014 in Liverpool and is owned by Paul Getty.

“I’m thrilled at the challenge and I’m eager to get stuck into the role,“ Bones told Angling international. “RidgeMonkey is a brand that has enjoyed substantial growth, led I believe by innovative product design, strong branding and an experienced and competent team – three key elements that attracted me to this new opportunity.”

Bones begins his new role on March 4.
