All-conquering Sonik Sports signs up for Angling International LIVE

Following its astonishing success at the last European trade show, UK-based Sonik Sports and its Nytro brand are looking forward to showcasing its 2025 products to the market at Angling International LIVE.

Atle Haakonsen (pictured above left), CEO of the company, told Angling International: “I was happy to hear news about the show as I believe last year’s event needed a sequel with a further push and marketing. It is important for us to physically meet and interact with customers and to show off new products and innovations to both new and existing customers.

“The fishing tackle industry is changing and it is more important than ever to meet our customers and get information on the ever-changing trends, not only for the sales guys, but for product development, marketing and IT.

“Having a physical meeting point for the trade improves communication not only with customers, but our manufacturers and even our competitors.”

Haakonsen added that he enjoyed linking up again with customers and industry friends in person and is looking forward to it again in Budapest in September. “Meeting people you don’t see often and enjoying a get-together socially is always great fun. I am also happy to see the same team behind the organisation of the show. Last year it was executed well and was a great platform to build on. Now the focus should be on attracting even more retailers and media from all over Europe.

“I am looking forward to this year’s show. It is a great opportunity for businesses to highlight new and exciting products and interact with customers.”
