New St. Croix spinning reels available worldwide now

The new SEVIIN GS and GX series spinning reels – one of the big talking points in the industry since they were revealed by St. Croix at last year’s ICAST show – are now available.

Both models – the work of British design guru Paul Richardson – are shipping to dealers worldwide this week and anglers are advised to check with their local shop for availability.

“Both models have been designed from a blank canvas over the past two years, each sharing similar architecture and each available in five sizes,” said SEVIIN Product Manager Robert Woods.

The GS Series is intended to provide a wide variety of anglers with a smooth, lightweight, rock solid reel, with a unique look, for a competitive retail price of $140. 

The GX Series, which retails at $190, has additional features that reduce weight and improve performance.
