EFTTEX exhibitor says specially discounted booth was ‘crucial’ in its decision

A former EFTTEX exhibitor has described the show’s European Starter Package Stand Reservations offer as ‘crucial’ to its return to the event.

Anplast Fishing, the Polish manufacturer of injection-moulded fishing tackle, says that in the past it had been hesitant in taking a booth at the show because of the high cost.

The company’s owner, Filip Frackowiak, told Angling International: “The package has been hugely helpful. In the past I have worked alongside a co-exhibitor as it was the only way for us to attend due to the high cost. Now, for the first time I can afford it without hesitation. It’s a great price.

“Most of the companies within the fishing tackle trade are not huge operations and could not afford to attend EFTTEX. Now there is a price we can all afford.”

Anplast last attended the show as an exhibitor in 2015 and is looking forward to its return in June. “It is the only fishing exhibition that we hold in high regard,” said Frackowiak. “We are looking forward to gaining new customers and meeting our current ones.

“Budapest holds a special place in my heart. It is always a great pleasure for me to go there and visit my friends who live in this great city.”

Anplast will be looking to add new distributors to its main markets of Germany, Denmark the UK, Hungary and Romania. “We used to count Russia, Belarus and Ukraine among them, but business there has come to a stop because of the war in Ukraine,” said Frackowiak.

“We are especially eager to work with companies from within the EU, including the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Croatia. Distributors from around the world are also welcome. Our dream is the ‘unreachable’ US market.”

The company will also be taking part in the highlight of the show – the Best New Product Awards – and will be unveiling its new robust tackle box that features a removable organising tray (pictured).
