Technology that has been described as a milestone for Pure Fishing’s Abu Garcia has helped the brand win the best new product award at the group’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Asia) sales meeting in Barcelona.
VoltiQ is said to take Abu Garcia forward into an area that has always been at the heart of the brand – casting performance. “By electronically monitoring spool rotation and continuously adjusting braking throughout, it helps anglers cast with greater control, confidence and fewer backlashes, says Pure Fishing.
Built on the same rigid and versatile platform as the popular Revo SX baitcasting reel, the Revo SX VoltiQ low profile reels incorporate Abu Garcia’s innovative VoltiQ (Electronic Casting System) braking technology. This allows anglers to fish any situation by reading the spool’s rotation and making fine adjustments to the brake accordingly, helping to improve overall casting performance. The new VoltiQ technology features an electronic casting system, delivering a highly adjustable reel designed to offer extensive adjustability to anglers.
