Carp Zoom has expanded its method feeder offering with a new generation of adaptable sets designed to help anglers respond quickly to changing conditions.
The Hungarian tackle supplier says its method basket range dates back to the earliest years of the company. What began as a relatively simple selection of baskets has gradually developed into a comprehensive range featuring multiple sizes and an increasing number of accessories.
Working with suppliers in Europe and China, Carp Zoom has continued to refine the range in response to new techniques and the differing demands of anglers across its markets.
Agnes Perecz, Carp Zoom Import/Export Manager, told Angling International: “The stand-out feature of the latest feeder sets is their flexibility. Anglers can select different basket sizes within a single system, fit an anti-tangle tube and add casting wings when greater distance is required. This allows one set-up to cover both short-raange and long-range fishing. Basket weights can also be changed easily as conditions, swim choice or casting requirements alter.”
She added that Carp Zoom acknowledges that not every angler needs a fully adjustable system. However, it believes the options will be particularly valuable to those who regularly adapt their approach during a session.
“For these anglers, an efficient feeder set must offer more than reliable bait presentation. It should also make it quick and straightforward to change weight, casting distance and configuration without rebuilding the entire rig.”
The new feeder designs, which have been available through the company’s distribution network since the start of the season, remain a major focus. “Carp Zoom closely follows ideas and techniques that have proved successful in competition fishing before incorporating the most effective features into products for the wider market. Our method feeder range now includes baskets with different rib arrangements and bait capacities. These variations allow anglers to choose a feeder suited to the water, target species, casting distance and amount of bait required,” said Perecz.
The latest developments continue a strategy that has helped Carp Zoom establish a broad feeder portfolio encompassing rods, reels, baits, boxes and accessories alongside its basket range.
