Fast growing Danish brand enters Ukrainian market

Fast growing Nordic Fieldsport has announced a new distribution partnership with Ukrainian tackle specialist Extreme Expedition, which will bring the Myran Sweden, Pulz Bait and Wolfcreek brands to the country’s fishing tackle market.

The agreement marks an important strategic step for the Danish brand and reflects the company’s commitment to supporting the continued development of the Ukrainian angling sector as it rebuilds and grows.

Extreme Expedition is one of Ukraine’s leading fishing tackle distributors, supplying a network of more than 320 retail partners nationwide. The company also represents a number of premium international brands, including Simms, Daiwa and Smith, and has spent more than 25 years building retailer relationships, developing brands and investing in the long-term growth of the market.

According to Nordic Fieldsport, the partnership was driven by a shared philosophy centred on retailer support, market development and long-term brand building.

Extreme Expedition echoed those sentiments, highlighting the alignment between the two companies’ approaches to growth and partnership.A spokesperson for the distributor said: “We are focused on creating growth together with our retailers, and that requires strong brands backed by strong ambitions. We see that in Nordic Fieldsport. We share the same approach to partnership and market development, giving us great confidence in what we can achieve together.”

The companies have already outlined a programme of joint initiatives focused on dealer support, increasing brand visibility and driving long-term growth across the market.

The partnership will see Nordic Fieldsport introduce three brands to Ukrainian retailers and anglers:

  • Myran Sweden – handcrafted spinners and rods manufactured in Sweden;
  • Wolfcreek – predator fishing tackle with a strong reputation among dedicated anglers;
  • Pulz Bait – patented lure technology designed to create its own swimming action and offer anglers a different approach to lure fishing.

Both companies say they are looking forward to working closely with retailers throughout Ukraine and building sustainable growth for the brands in the years ahead.
