Sakura adds a new soft swimbait for ‘all techniques’

Share

Designed by Nicolas Bianchini, the Breizh Shad from Sakura has established itself as a benchmark in the world of soft swimbaits, combining technicality, realism and versatility.

Available in three sizes (3.2”/15g, 4”/26g, 4.8”/31g), this ready-to-fish lure stands out thanks to its BPA-free and phthalate-free floating PVC, guaranteeing optimal polymer hardness for powerful pulsations and a pronounced rolling action, perceptible even at long distances.

Franck Rosmann, SERT Product Manager, told Angling International: “The Breizh Shad is ideal for all modern techniques in saltwater and freshwater: jigging, linear retrieves, vertical jigging or bottom fishing. Its material, infused with a powerful attractant made from anchovies, anise and crustaceans, maximises hook-set time by encouraging predators to hold the lure in their mouths. Its responsiveness makes it a versatile tool, equally effective in fast drifts and slow, precise retrieves.”

The jighead, specially developed for the Breizh Shad, optimises the lure’s natural swimming action thanks to an exclusive shape and a lowered centre of gravity. Equipped with an ultra-sharp Mustad 82833 hook and a phosphorescent 3D Sakura eye, it ensures maximum visual appeal, even in low light.

With its soft body and realistic pulsations, the Breizh Shad entices even the most demanding predators. Each combo includes a pre-rigged lure and a spare body, offering a turnkey solution for anglers seeking performance and durability.

Why choose the Breizh Shad:

  • Versatility: suitable for all modern fishing techniques in salt and freshwater.
  • Attractive: material impregnated with attractants and a phosphorescent eye.
  • Durability: resistant floating polymer and a high-quality hook.
  • Convenience: ready-to-use combo with a spare body.
  • Jigheads and bodies available separately.

Rosmann added: “The Breizh Shad is the perfect combination of innovation, realism and efficiency, for optimal results in fishing operations.”
