Garmin – the multi-national technology group and maker of award-winning fishing electronics – posted record revenue figures for the first quarter of its financial year.

The Switzerland-based group saw sales revenue increase 14% to €1.75 billion, which included €355,016m (2025: €319,438m) – an 11% increase from its marine division. During the quarter it launched a new 360-degree scanning sonar system with revolutionary Spy Pole, allowing anglers to see a birds-eye view of fish and underwater structure in every direction.

Cliff Pemble, President and Chief Executive Officer, told investors: “We achieved remarkable financial results during the opening quarter of 2026 in continuation of a positive trend we have been experiencing over the long-term. This performance is a direct reflection of our impressive line-up of products that are essential to the lives of our customers and our unique, highly diversified business model.

“We are very pleased with our results so far and look forward to the opportunities ahead as the year continues to unfold.”
