Fishing electronics giant posts record-breaking first quarter results

Garmin – the multi-national technology group and maker of award-winning fishing electronics – posted record revenue figures for the first quarter of its financial year.

The Switzerland-based group saw sales revenue increase 14% to €1.75 billion, which included €355,016m (2025: €319,438m) – an 11% increase from its marine division. During the quarter it launched a new 360-degree scanning sonar system with revolutionary Spy Pole, allowing anglers to see a birds-eye view of fish and underwater structure in every direction.

Cliff Pemble, President and Chief Executive Officer, told investors: “We achieved remarkable financial results during the opening quarter of 2026 in continuation of a positive trend we have been experiencing over the long-term.
