Okuma expands Canadian operation with new fulfilment centre

Share

Okuma Fishing Tackle has announced the launch of a new Canadian third-party logistics (3PL) fulfilment centre, a strategic investment designed to better support the company’s growing dealer network and improve service for retailers and anglers across the region.

As demand for Okuma products continues to grow in Canada, the new fulfilment centre enables faster delivery times, improved inventory availability and lower overall costs for Okuma Canadian partners. By positioning inventory closer to the market, Okuma is streamlining cross-border logistics and creating a more efficient supply chain to better serve its partners nationwide.

“Canada has always been an important market for Okuma and we’ve seen strong growth driven by the passion of anglers and the support of our retail partners,” said Sam Brenner, VP of Sales at Okuma Fishing Tackle. “This investment allows us to better support the dealers who represent our brand by improving delivery speed, stabilising costs and ensuring more consistent product availability throughout the season.”

The new Canadian facility will support Okuma’s full portfolio of freshwater and saltwater rods, reels and accessories. For dealers, the expansion means faster replenishment during peak fishing seasons and a more seamless ordering experience.

The facility is now operational and supporting shipments to retailers throughout Canada, reinforcing Okuma’s long-term commitment to strengthening service and supporting continued growth in the Canadian fishing market.
