Boston Whaler becomes latest European Predator Tour sponsor

Boston Whaler – one of the world’s premium supplier’s of fishing boats – has become the latest sponsor of the European Predator Fishing Championship.

The latest backer to join the high-profile sponsorship roster is a boost for the tournament which has established itself as the premier event of its kind for pike fishermen across Europe.

Evert Oostdam, founder of the event, told Angling International: “Boston Whaler has got involved because it is keen to expand its presence within the European fishing market. Its involvement followed a call from the company’s Hans Roelants. He contacted me regarding entering a team in the tournament.

“I replied that a better way to promote the brand would be as a sponsor – and it developed from there.

“Boston Whaler is internationally renowned for its fishing boats and is therefore a perfect match for the European Predator Fishing Championship. Together, with our partners, Lund Boats and Mercury, it will form a strong and solid Brunswick trio.”
