Shimano has this month launched two new rods within its exclusive JDM (Japanese Domestic Model) range.
The new ZODIAS has been built for predator anglers who demand more from their gear, while Shimano says the POISON GLORIOUS (main picture) is a third generation evolution of its high-performance lure rods.
Developed in collaboration with Japan’s elite tournament anglers, the flagship POISON GLORIOUS is said to embody the relentless pursuit of perfection demanded by high-end lure anglers.

At its core, Spinal X Core and Hi-Power technologies create an ultra-responsive blank, transmitting every vibration and movement. Ultimate Blanks Design (UBD) ensures seamless power, while full Carbon Monocoque delivers extraordinary feedback.

Available in four casting and nine spinning models, the range covers everything from finesse techniques for perch and zander to power models designed for large lures targeting pike and asp.
