Globeride announces senior moves within fishing division

Globeride – the owner of Japanese tackle giant Daiwa – has announced two major appointments in its fishing division which will take effect from January 1.

Managing Executive Officer, Shinobu Kobayashi, will assume an expanded role as General Manager of the Administration Department within the Fishing Sales Division in addition to continuing as its Divisin Manager, consolidating sales and administrative oversight under a single executive.

At the general manager level, Shingo Sakagami will move from General Manager of the Administration Department in the Fishing Sales Division to become General Manager of the Information Systems Department in the Business Management Division, signalling a shift in internal resource allocation and potential strengthening of the company’s information systems and business management functions.
