Rapala head among speakers at EFTTA Summit

The President and CEO of the Rapala VMC Corporation, Cyrille Viellard, is the latest name to be added to the list of speakers at this month’s European Fishing Tackle Trade Association (EFTTA) Summit.
Along with fellow Board member, Tuomo Leino, Rapala’s EVP, General Council and Head of Sustainability, he will be delivering a talk on ‘Sustainability reporting at Rapala VMC: Learnings from CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) implementation so far’, during the event which takes place on Thursday, November 27 before the ANGELWELT show in Berlin, Germany.
Among the other speakers will be EFTTA’s EU lobbyist, Jan Kappel, who will be updating delegates on the upcoming restrictions on lead in fishing tackle and non-toxic alternatives.
Other speakers include Peter Lyngby, President of the Danish Tackle Trade Association (Together Strong: A turnaround for sportfishing), Markku Vierela, Senior Fisheries Specialist at Metsahallitus, Finland (Finland’s fishing tourism: A strategy for sustainable growth and wellbeing) and Marko Uhl , Deloitte Partner and Attorney (Trade under pressure: EU’s customs reform and market safeguards).
