In July, Strike made its official debut at the world’s largest sportfishing trade show, ICAST, held at Florida’s Orange County Convention Center.
More than 12,000 anglers experienced the launch of a new benchmark in performance-driven, purpose-led footwear designed specifically for life on deck, in water and beyond.

Strike was founded by two lifelong friends: a British shoemaker with decades of craftsmanship expertise and an Italian big-game fisherman who has spent a lifetime at sea. After too many deck slips, back injuries, and lost personal bests, they recognised that no footwear brand was truly meeting the demands of serious anglers. Their solution was Strike: a brand built by anglers, for anglers, combining shoemaking heritage with performance innovation.
Strike footwear may begin in the design studio but it was perfected on the water. Every pair is tested on decks, in salt spray and under the conditions anglers face daily. HOW DID STRIKE AND IGFA BECOME PARTNERS?
Both founders have long-standing connections to IGFA. When they introduced Strike to the community, it quickly became clear that the partnership was a natural fit. WHAT DO THE HOLES IN THE SOLES DO?
Water on deck is inevitable. Instead of resisting it, the Strike team designed technology to work with it. Strike’s Aqua Sluice Gill System channels water away from the footbed, keeping shoes lighter, more comfortable and more stable. The result: enhanced traction, even in the wettest conditions.

WILL THE SOLES LEAVE MARKS ON THE DECK?

Saltwater is one of the harshest environments any product can face, but Strike was designed for it. Every material is selected for longevity under saline conditions and tested through extensive saltwater exposure.
