JMC Fly Fishing created the Kult Freshwater Series as its universal line of rods. It is a range of affordable rods that can meet all needs.
Although JMC Fly Fishing’s existing range of rods met the needs of fly fishermen, it wanted to offer a series that combined the technical characteristics of high-end rods – such as truly modern action and precision in casting – with the ease and comfort of less prestigious rods.
“We used the best available technology to create this series with Toray® CA 1100G carbon blanks. This next-generation carbon material provides a level of strength, accuracy and lightness that is unmatched in rods at this price point,” said JMC Product Manager Jean-Baptiste Nurenburg. “The components give the series a modern look while maintaining classic fly fishing standards. The custom, laser-engraved, anodised aluminium reel seat adds exceptional finishing touches to the series.”
To make this series truly ‘Kult’ for anglers everywhere, Nurenberg did not just focus on the most popular ‘classic’ rods on the European market. The series covers classic and specialised fishing styles, including TLT, as well as all types of nymph fishing, an area in which JMC is a specialist thanks to its extensive experience gained in collaboration with several successive world champions. The result is 11 Kult freshwater models ranging from 7ft 6ins #2/3 to 11 ft. #3/4.
