Gruppo DP reports solid growth despite supply chain challenges

Global line supplier Gruppo DP will arrive at ICAST in Orlando on the back of a strong first half of the year which has seen solid sales growth.

The Italian company says that despite some challenges in the supply chain, demand for its products have remained strong and it is optimistic for the rest of 2025.

Company Director Nicola Dagnino told Angling International: “The tariffs introduced by the Trump Administration have certainly created some uncertainty and we are slowing down some strategic decisions. However, we remain confident in the strength of the relationship between Italy and the United States which continues to support a healthy commercial exchange.

“While the situation requires careful monitoring we believe that the solid relationship between our countries will ultimately lead to even stronger business ties and long-term stability.”

Gruppo DP is a regular exhibitor on the world stage, attending EFTTEX, China Fish and the CGC Weihai Expo among others, but Dagnino says that ICAST stands out for the scale of its attendance, the high quality of visitors and the strong presence of US and international media.

“It’s a unique opportunity to gain visibility in the North American market,” he added.

Gruppo DP will be unveiling new products at the show, focusing on quality nylon and fluorocarbon for boat fishing techniques.
