Fisherman Corp will be adding an international flavour to Europe’s fishing tackle trade show and a touch of renowned Japanese style and technology.
The Kobe-based business has been producing fishing tackle for customers across the world since 1981 and is represented in over 50 countries across the globe. At this year’s EFTTEX it will be looking to increase that number.
Rie Takeuchi, the company’s Export Group Leader, told Angling International: “We are delighted to be returning to EFTTEX and are looking forward to presenting our products to as many people as possible.

“We will be bringing new products to Brussels and hope to attract new customers from the surrounding area. We are delighted by the venue and the timing of the event.”
Takeuchi says that Fisherman Corp has plenty to offer potential new business partners. “We have built up a network of companies around the world and have established good, meaningful relationships with all of them. We believe in visiting companies from across the globe to meet our business associates face-to-face to ensure that we can fulfil their requirements to their satisfaction.
“There have been countries where the fishing market has been depressed for a long period of time. Exhibiting at trade shows is a costly endeavour, but we are hoping that the new opportunities which can present themselves at these events will provide a boost to the entire tackle industry.”
