Quantum continues salt development with Benchmark

Quantum Fishing, which announced its decision to become a saltwater-only brand last year, has continued its roll-out of new product.

Hot off the production line is the Benchmark spinning reel, which the US manufacturer and member of the Rather Outdoors stable of brands, believes sets a ‘new standard’ in saltwater fishing.

Built for long-lasting performance, it features SEALOQ 6 (IPX6-rated) protection to keep sand away from internal components. The GEARTEQ machined gear is precisely cut to tight tolerances and crafted from premium materials to deliver extreme cranking power with an exceptional gear feel.

The CFX200 carbon fibre extreme drag system is smooth and provides best in class max drag for fish stopping power when you need it most.

In addition, it has a rigid aluminium frame that keeps gears, bearings and seals in perfect alignment and five stainless steel ball bearings for seamless performance.
