Cipher International – the UK-based owner of the Trakker carp brand – will be on a fact-finding mission when it visits the new-look European trade show in Budapest.
The company’s Product Manager, Ben Wales, told Angling International LIVE that a priority for the business is to evaluate the potential of the event as a means of promoting its brand on the European stage in the future.
“Cipher has attended major industry shows in the past and they always present an opportunity to learn something and potentially improve the way you do business. We are open to new ideas and as a product developer I am always looking at new ways we can improve our manufacturing and supply chain procedures in a way that is better for the end user.”
Wales added that Cipher is always looking for new retail opportunities for Trakker and its flagship product, the Tempest bivvy (pictured), which has underpinned the success of the brand alongside its luggage and chairs in the UK and European markets that include the Germany, France and Italy. “Opportunities could present themselves to increase our export markets at the show and we will be looking at those.”
Wales added that Trakker has recently benefited from a relaunch of the Tempest that has been well received by the trade. “The bivvy has been around for ten years, but it continues to go from strength to strength.”
