Describe ELLA and its business.
We help companies become more efficient, modern and valuable. In our fourth year, we are a digital transformation company that improves productivity and culture and elevates every customer experience with better processes, systems and talent to create competitive advantage and drive growth. With a proven track record in the automotive, manufacturing and retail sectors, we employ agile methodologies to adapt swiftly to business landscapes, empowering companies to lead in the digital economy.

Why are you attending and what are you looking to achieve at the show?
I am an entrepreneur and keen fisherman and identified that the angling industry needed modernisation. We are attending Angling International LIVE to connect directly with leaders and innovators in the fishing industry. Our objective is to showcase how our digital transformation solutions can revolutionise operations and enhance customer experiences within the fishing sector. Recently we have undertaken a major international project with Nash Tackle, where we are working to streamline its operations by eliminating isolated customer information and to significantly reduce inventory costs. We aim to share valuable insights on how other fishing tackle brands can achieve similar successes.

How can your business benefit companies in the fishing industry?
For companies in the fishing industry, we bring transformative technologies that optimise inventory management, improve supply chain logistics and enhance online and in-store  experiences. By also leveraging data analytics, IoT integration and customised software solutions, we empower fishing businesses to adapt swiftly to market demands, reduce operational costs and ultimately achieve sustainable growth in a competitive landscape.

Why have you targeted the fishing tackle industry?
The fishing tackle industry represents a dynamic sector where technological advancements can significantly enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. By focusing on this industry, we recognise the opportunity to apply our digital expertise to traditional practices, introducing innovations that improve relationships with customers, manufacturing processes and distribution channels. Our goal is to support fishing tackle manufacturers and retailers in staying ahead of market trends, optimising their supply chains and delivering superior products and services to anglers worldwide. At ELLA, we understand the angling industry and we believe we have built a solution that offers a rapidly deployable, end-to-end and integrated system to angling industry brands.

What companies have you worked with in the industry? Do you have any success stories you can divulge?
ELLA Digital partnered with Rootstock Software, Salesforce and Shopify to assist Nash Tackle in scaling for ongoing growth, efficiency and innovation. Over the past 18 months, we have embarked on a programme to transform Nash Tackle into a data-driven business, supporting its ambitious five-year growth plans. This ongoing transformation includes implementing Salesforce CRM and Rootstock ERP systems which are now live. In the coming months we will deliver new e-commerce platforms on Shopify, further enhancing operational efficiency across UK and European operations.

What else will you be talking about at Angling International LIVE?
Earlier this year we announced a strategic partnership with Conversica, the leading provider of Conversational AI solutions for sales teams. This collaboration is set to radically transform the UK market across multiple sectors focusing on enhancing customer experience and improving lead management. Conversica’s state-of-the-art Conversational AI technology empowers sales teams like never before. Its AI Digital Assistants interact 1:1 with every lead, whether outbound or inbound, prospect or existing customer, ensuring that opportunities are nurtured, qualified and unlocked efficiently.

This partnership allows all sales teams across the whole customer lifecycle to concentrate on creating a strong relationship with the customer, while the AI handles the rest. Conversica has demonstrated how personalised, direct communications over bulk emails can result in impressive open rates of 74% vs 38% seen by traditional email. One of our customers in their first two weeks of go-live messaged 527 individual leads, sent 2,081 emails and saw a 73.2% open rate. 25.3% of people went on to engage in a conversation which compared to traditional email at 1.3% makes a compelling tool to engage prospects and customers with.We see this as a critical shift in how businesses communicate with their customers and drive revenue from new and lapsed leads.
