European online retail giant reveals major relaunch

Bontrup Media – one of Europe’s biggest online retailers with customers in 11 countries – has embarked on a major relaunch of the business.

Alongside a change of name to Tackle Group Europe to better reflect its growing business, it has moved into a brand-new warehouse, relaunched its website and introduced new products to its vast portfolio.

Its individual shops and brand names, which include Visdeal, Fishdeal, Pechepromo, Fischdeal and TackleXL alongside its other stores, will remain unaffected by the changes. “Our dedication in keeping customers happy is the same as ever,” said Max Pool, Managing Director of Tackle Group Europe. “The name of the company reflects better our EU-wide family of online retailers.

“Providing anything that an angler could need across multiple countries, we continue to grow and innovate. Embracing the latest technology and an ever-expanding product range, Tackle Group Europe is a big fish that keeps growing.”

Pool added that over the coming months retailers can expect:

• More tackle and equipment than ever before with a huge range of brands. Added Pool: “Everything is based on our knowledge and passion for Europe’s amazing fishing culture, which is unique to every country.”

• The ultimate growing brand. Alongside its top brands, the group is set to expand its Ultimate brand and also introduce a new brand to offer ‘next level’ products.

Increased growth and innovation. Pool said that the future looks bright after posting double digit revenue growth and a stronger than ever EU market share. “While technology is key, our greatest asset is Tackle Group Europe’s team of industry-experts who are as passionate about fishing as they are business. As we grow, so does our list of staff to serve customers better.”

Capacity and cutting-edge logistics. Earlier this year the group moved into its new warehouse and office boosting its operation with an increased 8,200sqm of space and automation.

Versatility and choice. To add to its range of stock, it is increasing customer choice with ‘stocklink’ products held by other suppliers. “The result is even greater variety to suit every customer in every country.”

Pool added: “As we come through another busy fishing season, Tackle Group Europe is thrilled to serve more customers and business partners than ever before. But there is so much more to come and we are looking forward to everyone being part of it.”
