PRADCO-Fishing promotions look to ongoing succession planning

PRADCO-Fishing has promoted three team members to Vice President status as part of the company’s ongoing succession planning. All three are members of its leadership team and have held significant leadership roles at the company.
Heather Chaffin has been promoted to Fishing’s Vice President of People and Culture. She is responsible for recruiting and retaining talent and initiated Fishing’s Mentoring and Career Development Programme two years ago, which identifies and trains team members to be promoted into key company roles, with an emphasis on increasing diversity. Chaffin has previous human resources experience at Walmart and Tyson Foods and is in her sixth year at PRADCO.
Mark Cowan has been promoted to Vice President of Operations for Fishing. In his 29th year at PRADCO, Cowan oversees its operations in Fort Smith and Guatemala and is also in charge of the global supply chain for raw materials and finished goods. He started his career in production and worked his way through the ranks to become Executive Director of Operations. .
Chad Warner is in his ninth year at PRADCO and has been named Fishing’s Vice President of Brand Management. He oversees its largest brands – YUM and BOOYAH. He is also the direct report for five brand managers and manages the product development processes for all fishing brands. He has previous management experience at Walgreen’s.
Chaffin, Cowan and Warner all report to Bruce Stanton, Fishing’s Vice President and General Manager.
“Heather, Mark and Chad are all about demonstrating customer service and having tremendously positive attitudes about their work and their lives,” said Stanton, in his 29th year at PRADCO. “As we look at the current business environment, these three are extremely high performers and have demonstrated a high commitment to serving others. As we look to the future, they are the leaders we need to continue our growth and success for the next 10 to 20 years.”
