AFFTA reveals plans for 2024 trade summit

The American Fly Fishing Trade Association’s (AFFTA) Confluence will this year take the form of a trade summit designed to help members gain a better understanding of the industry and improve their businesses.

The Confluence, formerly a trade show known as IFTD, will be held at the famous Monteleone Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana, from October 22nd to 23rd.

The gathering will help foster networking opportunities through presentations and face-to-face meetings.

The Association’s first Confluence was held last year in Salt Lake City in a three-day format that retained an exhibition element and included an outdoor presentation day.

“In listening to the feedback of our members, we have now reimagined the Confluence as a summit that focuses on networking, education and discussion for our members,” says AFFTA.
