Greek retailer looking for ‘hot’ tech at Angling International LIVE

A Greek retailer has been making his way to the European tackle trade show since 2015 – and this year he has a number of specific products on his hit list.

As well as looking for all the traditional tackle to fill the shelves of his store – like rods, reels, lines and lures – Aristeidis Tsouros (pictured), owner of Tsouros Marine, will be checking out the latest electronics and new technologies on display. He told Angling International: “Customers are becoming more and more interested in lithium battery chargers, trolling motors (electronic anchors) and fishfinders.

“Awareness has increased as anglers share information on Facebook groups. Lithium batteries are very hot at the moment. Demand is surpassing supply. I am looking forward to checking out the latest developments in the sector.”

Tsouros added that the European show is a rare opportunity for him to meet potential new suppliers, discuss issues and strengthen relationships .He said: “Networking is crucial in our business and a European show is the perfect opportunity to meet everyone on one trip. After that communication is much easier.”
