Shimano goes direct to consumers with new launches

Shimano US has announced that it will go direct to consumers with its latest line of apparel and tackle storage systems.

The gear is available to fishermen at fishshop.shimano.com. “We could not be happier to provide consumers another option when it comes to purchasing Shimano apparel and tackle storage anglers have come to know and trust,” said Walter Lockhart, Senior Marketing Manager at Shimano North America Fishing. “We are proud to produce the apparel needed to handle the elements and provide anglers efficient organisation during a long day on the water.”

New tackle storage systems include:

Baltica Tackle Bag: Durable tackle bag that features tons of storage and is constructed with premium fabrics and features heavy-duty TPU corrosion-resistant zippers.

Blackmoon Backpack: Offered in two different styles, each built to meet angler preferences. This all-in-one bag features dedicated storage for reels, terminal tackle, lures, line and tools, and is constructed with premium fabrics, reinforced double-stitched seams and corrosion-resistant zippers.

Bluewave Surf Bag: Designed for surfcasters, it is constructed to handle tough, salty conditions holding casting lures and tackle for anglers chasing trophy fish in the surf.
