Can it repeat the success of the 2023 best-seller?
Top Japanese line maker Momoi has revealed its best-seller for 2023 – and given details of a brand new launch at next month’s Osaka Fishing Show in Japan.
At the event the award-winning company will be releasing a new casting braid for big game species like GT and kingfish. Ken Harada, Momoi General Manager, told Angling International that this new casting PE has a higher abrasion resistance and strength than previous lines.

Harada is confident that the new launch will be as successful as the LureSoul Cast PE, which was the company’s best-seller last year. The casting line has both the stiffness and suppleness to deliver whether you are using spinning or baitcasting reels.
A ‘different level’ knitting technique dramatically reduces problems such as thread crushing, softening and breakages during use. It also uses a newly developed triple silicon resin process to reduce friction through the guides, further achieving a further, stronger and smoother cast.
