Major supplier: China Fish ‘will show tackle market is recovering’

Share

The return of China Fish in February after a prolonged break will underline the recovery taking place in the fishing tackle market in the country.

That is the view of Qian Gang Wang, owner of Weihai Hanhigh, a major supplier of fishing rods to top brands across the world. He also told Angling International that he was excited by the record-breaking turn-out of exhibitors to the show in Beijing.

Angling International reported last month that the event has attracted an all-time best-ever line-up of over 700 tackle suppliers which includes more than 200 first-timers.

“There will be more exhibitors than ever before because after a long break and suffering a difficult time in recent years, companies are looking forward to showing off their new products and finding new customers.

“I believe that the fishing tackle market is starting to recover and I am looking forward to welcoming visitors to the Hanhigh booth – you will not be disappointed.

“Without China Fish, companies were pushed to move into online communication through social media outlets like Wechat. We got used to these changes, but were also looking forward to a return of China Fish.

“It is an irreplaceable platform for face-to-face communications and an ideal place to catch more customers. Our customers will also get more choice by attending the show, but we are confident in our products and the service we offer.”

This year’s China Fish will take place from February 21st to 23rd at the New China International Exhibition Center, Beijing.
