‘Momentous changes’ to US fishing boat favourite
Lund Boats, a favourite brand among US anglers, has announced the launch of its fully-redesigned Alaskan series.
The Minnesota manufacturer of aluminium and fibreglass fishing boats says the ‘momentous changes’ to the series are the first in more than 15 years. Consumers can expect to see improvements throughout all models.
Most notably, the new series is completely wood free, meaning minimal maintenance and maximum longevity. The redesigned models also include an updated console for large or dual locators, along with increased storage.
Other features include more horsepower and improved livewells on the 1675 and 1875 models, and a carpet-free interior.
“The Alaskan has been a true workhorse for decades. Now enhancements have been made based on consumer feedback, enabling us to make a classic boat even better,” said Jeromie Johnston, President of Lund Boats.
Consumers can experience the new models across Lund’s dealer network.
