Bill Dance, for many the greatest tournament bass angler of all time, has joined New York tackle company KastKing.
Dance, who has become a prominent TV personality, will represent the company’s fishing lines, which will be featured in this season’s Bill Dance Outdoors nationwide show. The show started on local TV in Memphis and today has more than 18 million viewers.
Dance’s achievements include 23 national bass titles, including the Bass Angler of the Year three times and 40 top ten finishes. He is credited with popularising the Carolina Rig, using it to finish second in the Bassmaster Classic in 1973 before it was used by Jack Chancellor to win the Classic in 1985.
Bill’s status is unquestionable,” said KastKing President Al Noraker. “He will be using our fishing lines, including the new Hammer Braid, Tripolymer Advanced Monofilament, 13X Finesse Braid and Kovert Extreme Fluorocarbon as he educate America’s fishing enthusiasts on how to catch more fish.”
Dance said he was impressed that KastKing makes a lot of high-quality lines at affordable prices. “I wanted to to see what industry leaders thought so I made some phone calls to some prominent retail buyers that I trust and they encouraged me to make the move. Line is a major category for me. I am impressed with KastKing’s offerings and what they have planned for 2023.”
Launched as a direct-to-consumer company in 2013, KastKing products can now also be found in a growing number of retail locations.
