New generation squid design at EFTTEX – see it here!

Share

A new generation in squid jig design will be on display at EFTTEX in June in Barcelona.

Designed by the owner of Cyprus-based LURESLAB, Dinos Panayi, the EZsquid Shad 70 is described as the first true multi-functional EGI-shad hybrid that has been created to perform where conventional jigs reach their limits.

Panayi told Angling International: “The jig is designed for various different depths. Whether cast, retrieved or trolled, the EZsquid Shad 70 maintains a smooth, stable-sliding side-to-side action and stays suspending, which triggers squid instinctively. Use it weightless for ultra-shallow zones or add weights to search deeper layers. Troll it freely in the shallows – or pair it with a planer to reach depths of 25m and beyond.

“One body, multiple modes, total control – that’s the EZsquid Shad 70. We see many companies create the same body prawn-type, design and features. This lure is different and provides something that the market has been missing.”

It will join other innovations – the EZDOG series, the lure that performs mechanical and manual swimming actions – and EZshad Swimmer 70 among other LURESLAB creations at booth E52 at EFTTEX.

Panayi added: “The EZshad Swimmer 70 has the look and attributes of a prey and boasts a tight kicktail, fluid rolling body line, true tracking profile even under pressure and a power keel designed for stability when trolled at high speed or reel retrieved.”
