KastKing continues European adventure at ANGELWELT

After wooing the trade at the EFTTEX show in September, US brand KastKing will turn its attention to consumers at Europe’s largest fishing show.
The Texas-based business, which is aggressively targeting the European market, will be attending ANGELWELT in Berlin, Germany, at the end of the month (November 28 -30) after a hugely successful business event in Brussels which saw it pick up an award for its Kapstan Elite saltwater fishing rod (below).
Eric Knickerbocker, US Business Director for KastKing Global, told Angling International: “By attending ANGELWELT we are sending a clear message that we are committed to the European market and here to stay. Germany is a key country in our growth strategy, having the highest number of registered anglers in the region.

“It is also a European fishing leader and an integral country to further our brand expansion.”
Knickerbocker added that KastKing is looking forward to touching base with European anglers. “Whereas EFTTEX is a trade-only show, ANGELWELT will give us another perspective on the market. While the need for the industry-only show is imperative to enhance relationships and establish key customer meetings, a consumer event is truly a way to get your product noticed and into the hands of thousands of people in a very short space of time.
“It will help us to drive sales with our new German distributor, Advanced Fishing. We have partnered with the company’s Managing Director, Fabian Kraft. His knowledge of the country’s fishing tackle market as well as being an avid angler, are sure to be a winning partnership for both parties.”
KastKing will be showing off a representative model of almost the company’s entire range in Germany, including rods, reels, lines and accessories.
