Okuma celebrates first at ICAST and winning top show award

Rod and reel brand Okuma capped a successful ICAST by recognising its 2025 Group Rep of the Year and its outstanding sales person – and winning an award at the show’s New Preoduct Showcase.

And for the first time in the history of the awards, the honours were given to the same representative group. Thomas F. Gowen & Sons took the group award and its employee, Ryan Wimer, was selected as the company’s Representative of the Year.

The Japanese brand also celebrated what it described as an ‘incredible’ honour when it was recognised as winner of the fly reel category with the Integrity. The team are pictured below after receiving witrh award at last week’s ICAST.
